Administration declares war on doctors; vows to treat “like Taliban”--Pain Relief Network sponsors news conference to support Dr. William Hurwitz. --AAPS accuses administration of targeting doctors & pain patients in trumped-up “war on drugs.” --Government attorney compares doctors to terrorists. --Pain patients becoming desperate as more doctors are frightened to prescribe opioids.
On Monday, Sept. 29, AAPS participated in a news conference held by the Pain Relief Network at the National Press Club in Washington DC. to support Dr. William Hurwitz of McLean, VA following his arrest last week for prescribing legal pain relief supervised by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
